These are just fun. They have a great flavor and are very pretty. They are more fragile than black peppercorns so are easier to crush. I recommend using a spice mortar or using whole. I currently have them in a pepper grinder (which makes for great table presentation), but the grinder has a little tougher time with them.

These are really tasty! My 5 year old loves them on beef, and I have to agree, it adds a nice and unexpected flavor.
